  <abstract>This book contains 93 speeches on a wide range of topics. The speakers includes statesmen, parliamentarians, educationists, religious leaders and prominent figures of the judiciary and the legal professions. There are two sections in this book of 380 pages . One containing the speeches of Malaysian leaders and the other, the speeches of leaders of Singapore. The speeches, of course will be of considerable interest to all public speakers and those interested in what is happening in this part of the world. It is a veritable mine of information and knowledge.  This should also serve as an excellent guide to effective speaking. </abstract>
