N2 - "In the final years of Emperor Guangxu's reign, the ten thousand animals in the Beijing garden were in a predicament after the death of Empress Dowager Cixi, and were facing the fate of being auctioned. Moreover, the headline on Peking Daily News aroused the interest of an American missionary. As follows, the missionary took an elephant, a lion, two zebras, five baboons, a parrot along with a snake and he left Beijing for Chifeng. On the way, they warmed and comforted each other. An exotic girl with the ability of stealing dreams and a boy with the capacity to speak the animals' lingo, were all entangled with the zoo on the grassland. This is the story of a loner chasing his dream as well as a long dream of a remote small town."--
